Distrust of the news media is at an all-time high.  People are frustrated because they don’t know where to get trustworthy, verifiable, and accountable information.  So they resort to social media and other non-verified news sources for information.  Additionally, cryptocurrency “rug pulls” are creating deep distrust in the financial world.
